Slide 28
This cell is a reactive lymphocyte with basophilic cytoplasm observed in the blood of a patient with measles. The nucleus is eccentric like that of a plasma cell. There are blocks of chromatin within the nucleus. The cytoplasm contains a few azurophilic granules. These cells sometimes are classed as plasmacytoid lymphocytes or Turk cells.
