Slide 15
In this slide we see the three oldest cells of the granulocytic series. The top cell is a segmented neutrophil, the middle one is a metamyelocyte, and the bottom one is a band. The best way to determine the stage of maturation is to compare cells in the same field. This should become automatic as you study cells under the microscope.
