Slide 2
This slide, the next three, and others later in the program include questions. Shown here is a blood smear obtained from a 49-year-old nonalcoholic male with recurrent pneumococcal pneumonia. The patient had leukopenia and anemia. The platelet count was normal. The total serum protein was 10 gm/dl with 6 gm/dl globulin. What is the cell? What other studies should be done?
