The two E2 cells shown here are from the same patients as the previous ones. There are slight differences in the cells, as the basophilic megaloblast on the left is larger and the nuclear chromatin appears somewhat finer than that of the basophilic normoblast on the right. Again, it is difficult to say that the patient represented on the left would respond to treatment while the other one would not.
